Todd Burleson is a teacher/librarian who works in the northern Chicagoland area. He can be found among the shelves helping young readers discover new worlds and wonders. He particularly loves learning from the past; that’s probably why he enjoys biography and historical fiction. Crossing the country in his 1947 Tourette Teardrop Trailer is his favorite way to travel. One of his favorite parts of writing is researching. Spending time where his subjects once lived or where events occurred helps him capture elements that make the story come to life. He lives in Kenosha, WI with his beautiful wife, two kids and silly yellow Lab.
